While waiting for hotel check in at 3pm, we decided to spend some time here. Initally book for 1 hour, in the end book for additional 1 more hour as it was fun singing with family. Price is reasonably cheap, karaoke room is clean and spacious and mike cover also given. Latest english, malay & korean song also available. Staff is also friendly. Will come again next time.

Kitty and I decided to check out Mini Studio Karaoke @ Toppen JB after she had been raving about this new shopping center with all its fun activities. Toppen JB itself is a fairly new shopping center, probably about three years old, with a modern and unique design. It's different from the usual shopping malls we see in Johor Bahru, and we were impressed by the selection of shops and activities. We were particularly excited to try Mini Studio Karaoke. They offer a range of packages for singing in their mini studios. These studios are like little recording booths, soundproofed and equipped with high-quality microphones and headphones. You can clearly hear your own voice and the music through the headphones, which makes singing so much more enjoyable. We opted for a 30-minute slot, which is very affordable. We think that's a very reasonable price for a private, comfortable studio with such good sound equipment. The microphones are sensitive and high quality, and we both felt we sang better in this studio than we usually do. There are a few things that could be improved. We found the song selection a little challenging to navigate. We weren't sure if the search engine was just a bit clunky or if we were using it wrong! We also noticed that the microphones and headphones weren't covered for hygiene purposes, which is something we think should be considered. It would be great if they had disposable covers for the headphones, like they do for microphones, that customers could change after each use. Overall, we had a lot of fun at Mini Studio Karaoke. It's a great option for anyone looking for a fun and affordable karaoke experience. The studio is well-equipped, the sound quality is excellent, and the staff are friendly. We definitely recommend checking it out!
